When researching and investigating an area that is reported as haunted, we look at the evidence and then decipher the intensity of the haunting or paranormal activity.Keep in mind that a place may be active when we are not there to witness the activity. Some hauntings are predictable while others seem to be intelligent hauntings and the paranormal forces decide when and around whom to be active.(please see our types of hauntings)For the paranormal activity we can find, prove, gather evidence for, or at least be unable to disprove, we give a ranking of 1 – 5 stars. This is an easy way for us to keep track of areas which may need further investigation. |

![]() | Orb activity. Orb activity is not a sign of a haunting. Orbs (as contrasted with dust particles that look like orbs in photographs) are collected energy. It’s hard to tell whether they have anything to do with paranormal energy, or energies in the area combining. Because of this, we cannot rate orbs highly. We have noted in some of our investigations that though there may be increased activity of orbs in a active haunted area, this still may not necessarily mean that it is from or pertains to paranormal activity. Feelings. Even though we have people sensitive to paranormal activity in our group, and we do believe in sensing the paranormal, we cannot give to much credence to this proof of paranormal activity, as there can be no verification. The use of sensitives (please see our definitions ) in investigations helps us to find the more active sites and know the types of hauntings. |
![]() | Verified paranormal information. If a person obtains unexplained knowledge of an event, name, or description of someone or something occurring without prior knowledge, and that can later be proved factual is a one star rating in our investigations. Even though to most this is good evidence of something paranormal occurring, it again is still hard to take as evidential proof of a haunting. These are not to be ruled out of course, since many paranormal activities will be very difficult to capture as presentable evidence for others. Objects moving/ phantom smells, feelings of being touched by something not there, etc…. are indications of an active haunting. For us to be able to give it a higher rating some type of presentable proof would need to be accompanied with this occurrence. For example: a video of something moving that can not be explained would be acceptable. |
![]() ![]() | Presentable evidence in which we can show and have others verify. This includes photos, evp, video’s, etc… This type of evidence is what we mainly seek for further examination to help in the study of the paranormal. |
